Ahmed has been my Arabic teacher for 10 months, I came to Egypt from the UK with my Wife and I wanted to learn Arabic to get around and to be able to communicate. Before I found Ahmed I tried some other teachers and I was really worried I would not find a good tutor as they didn’t meet my expectations, I had a few lessons with others and then I had my first lesson with Ahmed and I was so happy because I knew I had found an amazing teacher. He has been incredible at helping me learn Arabic, within the first month I could read and write, and now after almost a year I can understand a lot of what is happening around me, as well as speak to people about a number of different things, order food etc The most important thing though is that Ahmed makes learning Arabic really fun, I have lessons often at the end of the day after work and sometimes I don’t really feel like it. Every time though, Ahmed makes me glad I did the lesson as he is passionate, incredibly thoughtful about how he teaches and just a good happy guy. Every lesson Ahmed pushes me just the right amount, he weaves in past topics and conversations and sometimes it feels crazy that he seems to know the exact words and phrases that I know. I couldn’t be happier and I am so glad Ahmed is my teacher!
